Commuter Operator
An airline that is contracted under a large commercial airline to provide smaller planes for travel to and from areas that do not generate enough passengers to warrant a commercial size airline. The smaller plane connects with a larger city airport and the passengers get on a large commercial sized plane from there.<< Back to the Glossary
