Learjet 40 Charter

For the 32nd anniversary of the original Learjet, Bombardier’s conducted it’s first flight of the Learjet 40 in 1995. With FAA certification in 1997, the model was introduced to the market in 2003. The Learjet 40 is specifically designed to travel at higher altitudes than any of its predecessors and can typically seat six passengers, cruise at speeds of 464 kts, and has a range of 1,692 nm. Originally derived from the Learjet 45 (but with a slightly shorter fuselage), the Learjet 40 features the same high performance wing, cockpit and major avionics systems found in the 45 all while increasing both cabin space and a range over the Learjet 31.
